Thank you! That term has been driving me crazy in the last year or so. You can't pick up a financial paper without finding some smug shill's orotund encomium to the "stakeholders". It used to be nearly exclusive to radical economics.

At my foundation we used to convene stakeholders around issues relating to the empowerment of community-building change agents. I think I'll ask Tony Proscio what that meant.
